What drives Prince George prices
Prince George is a northern BC forestry and transport hub. Hwy 16 and Hwy 97 meet here, and the city carries the label gateway to the north. Timber and freight move through the city on their way to markets south and west. Carriers running the north use Prince George as the staging point where routes split toward the Peace country, the coast, or the south. Forestry work anchors the local economy and keeps the truck traffic steady through the city.
